Think you might need legal help?

If you’re not sure whether you need a lawyer, that’s okay. Contact us anyway. We’ll listen to your situation, answer your questions, and help you understand your options. If Sandpiper isn’t the right fit, we’ll tell you honestly.

We’ve designed our process to be straightforward, informative, and pressure-free, so you can learn about your options before deciding how to move forward.

1

CONTACT US: Choose the method that works for you.

You can call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Calls are answered by our professional answering service when an attorney is unavailable. This is usually the fastest way to get a response.

You can schedule a time for an attorney to call you back.

You can send a text message. An attorney will text you back as soon as possible.

Send us an email describing your situation or asking a question.

Complete our contact form so that we can perform a conflict check and contact you at your convenience.

For your protection, please do not send confidential information with your initial inquiry. Once we have completed a conflict check and confirmed that we’re able to assist you, we’ll be happy to discuss the details of your case.

2

ALLOW US TO CHECK FOR A CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Before we discuss the details of your case, we’ll perform a quick conflict check. This simply means we’ll ask for the names of the other people involved so we can make sure we’re able to represent you. This information is never shared or used for any other purpose.

3

FREE, NO OBLIGATION TELEPHONE CONSULTATION: An attorney will talk to you by phone about your legal matter, answer your initial questions, and help you understand your options. There is no obligation to hire us. If we don’t believe we’re the best choice to help you, we’ll tell you honestly.

4

OPTIONAL EXTENDED CONSULTATION (IN PERSON OR BY ZOOM): Some legal matters deserve more time than a brief telephone conversation. During this consultation we will discuss your situation in greater detail, answer your questions, review any documents you’d like us to see, and talk about the legal options available to you. These extended consultations typically last between one and two hours.

The cost of the extended consultation is $200. If you decide to retain Sandpiper, that amount will be credited toward your legal fees.

5

MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER: If you decide to retain Sandpiper Law Firm, we’ll prepare a written representation agreement describing the legal services we will provide, our responsibilities, and our fees. Because we believe there should be no surprises about the services we provide or the fees you can expect, we encourage you to read the agreement carefully and ask as many questions as necessary before signing.
